Nathaniel Lucas used the program Photoscape instead of Photoshop to complete an assignment. He imported two images into Photoscape - a dragon image and the logo from The Hobbit. Lucas used the combine tool to place the dragon image beneath the logo. Then he used the bloom tool to add a soft golden light shining from the "o" in the logo, mimicking the glow of the one ring from The Hobbit by adjusting the size, area, brightness, and contrast of the shine.

I actually used the program Photoscape for this assignment instead of Photoshop. After
downloading and installing Photoscape, I pulled both images into the program and used the
combine tool to place the image of the dragon beneath the logo of The Hobbit. After I had the
images placed how I wanted, I used the bloom tool to make the soft golden light come from the o
in the logo image in order to make it look as if it were shining like the one ring from The Hobbit.
