The students went on a science trip to the park to observe and identify the different parts of trees by touching and feeling the textures of the tree trunks. They classified leaves by shape and did an experiment to see how plants absorb water by using red colored water, which was then visible on the leaves after a few days. They also learned how insects help plants reproduce and acted out pollination using cheetos as pollen and constructing insect costumes with ear plug legs.
