    Photo Composition PowerPoint   Introduction:     Today  you  are  going  to  research  a  Photography  composition  technique.    There  are   hundreds  of  techniques.    To  narrow  your  focus,  we  are  going  to  choose  from  a  short  list.     Later  this  trimester,  you  will  be  permitted  to  break  the  rules.    Before  you  can  break  them,  it   is  important  that  you  learn  them.     Here  is  a  list  of  topics  to  choose  from:  (you  can  find  short  blurbs  on  p.  49  –  52  of  Jostens   Get  the  Picture.)     Leading  Lines           Curves   Repetition  of  Form   Bird’s  Eye  View   Worm’s  Eye  View     Follow  these  guidelines  and  you  will  do  well  on  this  assignment   • Create  a  PowerPoint   • You  should  have  an  Intro  slide,  5  content  slides,  and  a  Works  Cited  slide   • Explain  your  composition  rule  in  detail.   • Include  3  pictures  from  the  Internet  that  demonstrate  your  rule.   • Include  3  pictures  that  you  took.   • Make  sure  all  of  your  photographs  include  a  link  to  where  you  found  it  both  on  the   same  slide  as  the  photograph  AND  on  the  Works  Cited  slide.   • Use  proper  mechanics  (spelling,  grammar,  punctuation,  etc.)
