This document outlines the concept and objectives of an oral history project on economic policymaking in the Philippines from 1960-1985. It aims to conduct interviews with key technocrats and economic decision makers from that period to understand events from their perspectives and analyze major themes. It provides background on the periods of different presidential administrations and economic challenges. Biographies are given for the main technocrats who will be interviewed, including their roles and educational backgrounds. The research is significant for documenting first-hand accounts, allowing comparative studies, and applying oral history approaches in Philippine political research.
