Pete Riehm Announces Candidacy for Mobile County Commission
Mobile, AL – Mobile commercial realtor and local activist, Pete Riehm, will
formally announce his candidacy for Mobile County Commission District 2 in the
July 13th Special Election at 4:00pm, Thursday 3, June 2010, on the Mobile
County Fairgrounds on the corner of Cody Rd and Zeigler Blvd.
The people of District 2 deserve honest diligent representation. Pete Riehm is
running to restore integrity and confidence in the office and give the people a
strong voice.
A retired US Navy Commander, this is Pete Riehm’s first run for public office.
Our county government faces many difficult challenges: fiscal shortfalls, lagging
infrastructure improvement, rising crime, and underperforming education.
The people of District 2 want a new approach. Pete Riehm humbly asks the people
for the opportunity to serve them with bold leadership and a comprehensive new
strategy of working together to advance the interests of all citizens by
implementing sound and limited self-governance.
