Alice King conducted a personal field trip in her yard and house in Hunt, Texas in April 2021 to identify and observe various insects and invertebrates. She saw and photographed dragonflies, grasshoppers, crickets, butterflies, moths, flies, true bugs, beetles, bees, wasps, ants and other arthropods. The field trip helped her learn to identify different species using online identification tools. She noticed a variety of insects including ladybugs, caterpillars, beetles, spiders and unknown bugs.
