The artist explores political and philosophical themes in his work through unconventional mediums and techniques. His pieces reference facial disfigurement, the process of creating art, and being critical of accepted norms. Some of his notable works include using gold leaf on his face, emphasizing the process of making art over the final product, and reflecting on his experience taking LSD.

Editor's Notes
*He used his body as an artistic tool by transforming it into a sculpture whose forms changed continuously. He also used different animal’s bodies to express meaning. *His injuries caused scarring therefore leading him to use healing properties as tools and revolutionary materials to create sculpture. He also then recognized the difference between life and death.* Feeling and doing = thinking

He stresses that the process of making art and viewing art can be more important than the finalproduct.
He also takes a stab at the political side of art. By playing off various social taboos, his absurd scenarios make us think twice, and perhaps even laugh uncomfortably.
By using all 3 of these artists concepts, I want to perform using my body to help get across the message of beauty in society.
