To continue the theme, LED lights illuminate the cabinet which in a low light environment make the whole cabinet glow. An electronic timing system ensures that the gearbox never misprints a coin, while a very clever design feature ensures that coins are pressed flat. This results in a reliable and robust gearbox that will produce hundreds of thousands of souvenirs. In fact an independent testing laboratory said it was “over engineered” showing in their testing that it takes 3 tonnes of pressure to press a coin while our gearbox is rated for more than 9 tonnes of pressure. It comes as standard with instructions, but you can add whatever you want by simply copying files onto the SD card. In tune with the lines and illumination of the rest of the cabinet, the top sign is illuminated with the same colour of LED’s as the bottom of the cabinet. The standard design features the Penny Press Factory logo, but you can optionally have it customised to your logo. It is in one colour only and illuminated with LED’s. - 7. The Money Acceptor www.pennypressfactory.com It accepts notes or coins. The Penny Press can be supplied with either a note acceptor or an electronic coin mechanism. Both the coin mechanism and note acceptor work with any currency. Once the credit is reached they will activate the hopper which will dispense the coin or token which will be pressed into a souvenir. This gives you the flexibility to accept any kind of coin or note or you could even become cashless and use a card system. The Top Sign The Money Acceptor The Hop
- 8. The Hopper www.pennypressfactory.com No copper coins? No Problem. The hopper solves a problem. Who carries small copper coins with them ? How much revenue has been lost because people didn’t have the right coin to crush? The hopper can be filled with UK 1p, US 1c and Euro 5c coins or we can supply silver tokens with a guarantee of consistency. It holds 600 coins and once it receives the signal from the money acceptor it will dispense the coin or token into the gearbox ready to be made into a souvenir. That means that every time you press them they will come out exactly the same size. gold silver You can choose from gold or silver tokens which give the souvenirs a better look and do not tarnish over time. What’s more the gold or silver implies a higher value than the copper. Though we hold penny presses in stock, the die wheels are made to order with your images. Simply send us 4 images, which can be in any format and we will make them into line drawings then send you proofs.
