The GigaVUE-420 is an intelligent data access networking switch that provides several key functions:
1. It aggregates, multicasts, filters and load balances network data streams to distribute traffic across multiple monitoring tools.
2. It uses hardware-based pattern matching to filter traffic and apply up to 4096 filter rules per system.
3. The modular chassis can be stacked to provide up to 240 network ports across 10 chassis for comprehensive network visibility.
