Paul Dirac was an English theoretical physicist born in 1902 who established the complete theoretical formulation of quantum mechanics, for which he won the 1933 Nobel Prize in Physics. He attended Merchant Venturers' Secondary School and universities in Bristol, Cambridge, and Copenhagen. Dirac made contributions to physics including his famous quote that any small action on Earth can impact things as large as the farthest stars.
