We have supported many clients through
a Debt Relief Order (DRO), that would
have otherwise led to bankruptcy.
If a client has been recently made
bankrupt, it is important that they act
fast; we have annulled bankruptcies
that could have been prevented.
We have dealt with many cases
where companies and individuals have
been made insolvent through unpaid
tax. It is important to act quickly and
arrange suitable finance to
discharge HMRC.

CORPORATE INSOLVENCY
ADMINISTRATION RECEIVERSHIP LIQUIDATION
If a client’s business is in administration,
then we can work with its creditors and
administrators to discharge the adminis-
tration and restore financial stability.
It is important to act quickly in
a receivership and our financial
solutions could be the difference
between discharging creditors or an
unnecessary liquidation.
It is still possible to salvage a
company from liquidation. However,
if this is the only suitable option then
we will work with our insolvency
experts to provide the advice and
support the client needs.

sensitive service. We however, like to share a success story from time to time to
prove that we really can bring clarity to a complex and difficult situation. From
small financial hiccups, to big life-altering circumstances, no challenge is too much
for our team of industry experts and our growing list of testimonials

Despite being due to inherit a third of a late parent’s house once probate
was concluded, HMRC would not hold off serving a Bankruptcy Petition
upon a self-employed client who was facing a large liability.
Our client was unable to demonstrate serviceability for a remortgage, so we
stepped in to secure a second charge bridge secured on his house, without
having to demonstrate income, to discharge the petition. The bridge was
arranged so that the interest was rolled up and no monthly payments were
necessary. Once probate was concluded, the bridging loan was discharged.
A BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATER

We were approached by a director who was feeling somewhat
disorientated by his company’s financial predicament, so naturally we were on hand to
help out. The director explained that the company was in a CVA and a requested our
support to raise £160,000 to discharge the CVA by way of variation and to release
working capital in order to grow the business.
We were advised that the company’s accounts did not demonstrate very strong
profits, but we were still able to arrange a facility which enabled the company to
borrow the necessary sum without having to demonstrate income.
This facility was also secured on a residential property despite the
property being part of a trust.

Legend has it ‘it’s not what you know, it is who you know’, but
we disagree. We provide clients with both expert knowledge and
invaluable connections in equal measure, so they have all the

Unfortunately, poor advice is a common culprit when it comes to looking for the cause
of our clients’ financial problems and in this case, tarnished pearls of wisdom led to
the liquidation of a client’s construction company.
The directors were subsequently exposed to liability under their personal guarantees,
so we were approached by a third party banker to help. After obtaining Counsel’s
advice, the liquidator was approached and the necessary funds were raised to
reverse the liquidation.
BUILDING BUSINESS BACK UP

Following the loss of a major court case, this particular client was made bankrupt and
came to us in search of some expert advice and friendly guidance after being unable
to raise funds.
As we promise to all of our clients, we were able to shed light on the best options
moving forward and calculate the best route out of what might initially seem like an
impossible situation. A second charge facility was secured on the private residence,
which meant the bankruptcy could be annulled and the client’s credit rating restored.
