students and employers who have found success with PATH.
“I was basically unemployed. I’d still be figuring
out what I wanted to do with my life, figure out
what career I’d want to choose, I’D STILL BE
UNEMPLOYED TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT I
WANTED TO DO without PATH” - Jake Soback,
Luzerne County Community College Welding
Graduate
“When you lose your job or you decide to
do something else, and you’re not sure, you
kind of lose your confidence. HAVING THE
SUPPORT SYSTEM THERE AND HAVING THEIR
ENCOURAGEMENT TO DO YOUR BEST IS WHAT
REALLY HELPED ME THE MOST.” – Nancy
Medina, Lehigh Carbon Community College
Healthcare Student
“I LEARNED SO MUCH FROM THEM. They
taught me that employers aren’t just looking for
workers, they’re looking for high performers.” – Nancy Medina

SUCCESS STORIES
“Programs like this keep businesses like mine in
business. It’s an excellent resource for the area,
it’s something that manufacturers really need. It’s
very difficult to find trained and qualified individuals,
and these classes that are being developed
are important to help companies like this stay
in business. I’M ABSOLUTELY GOING TO KEEP
WORKING WITH THE COLLEGE GOING FORWARD.” –
Garry Hartman, President, Cheetah Chassis
“We were part of a team. All I had to do was do my
part in the classroom, and the support team gave
us the tools.”
“I wanted to pursue a welding career, not just a dead end job. NOW I HAVE
SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO, and this is what I want
to do.” – Chris Leonard, Luzerne County Community College
Welding Student.
“It was serendipitous because I was able to meet with
them the day before my interview with St. Luke’s. I took
the classes on writing resumes and doing interviews, but
I always second guess myself. THEY GAVE ME SO MUCH
CONFIDENCE TO GO ON THE INTERVIEW AND DO WELL.” –
Elizabeth Elm, Northampton Community College Healthcare
Student
