VISAKHAPATNAM: Noted Carnatic music exponent ‘Sangita Kalanidhi’ Nedunuri Krishna
Murthy will be felicitated by Yaji Educational Society to celebrate his 82nd birthday at
Kalabharathi Auditorium here on Sunday evening.
Society Chairman Vemakoti Suryanarayana Sarma told reporters here on Friday that Sadguru
Sivananda Murthy, well-known music exponents Garimella Balakrishna Prasad and
Balantrapu Rajanikanta Rao, noted scholar Vedula Subrahmanya Sarma ,Sri Venkateswara
Bhakti Channel General Manager U.V.S.R. Anjaneyulu and several prominent citizens would
be present during the felicitation.
Up and coming singer Vinjamuri Anuhya will render
Annamacharya kritis composed by Mr. Krishna Murthy.
Eleven-year-old Anuhya had featured in TV reality shows,
including SVBC’s Gitanjali.
