Today's goals are to:
1. Revise health-related vocabulary.
2. Learn how to use the passive voice.
The document outlines two learning goals for today - revising health-related vocabulary and learning how to use the passive voice.
ARM based Multimedia IP Phone is a telephone with ARM processor, capable of sending and receiving real time data signals over the existing data network. It uses LPC1788 microcontroller to implement the standard data communication protocols using lwIP - open source library and modern touch based user interface using emWin Graphics library. The project also features a battery powered Uninterruptible Power System (UPS) for increased portability and standalone ability. Further, to demonstrate the use of IP telephony and VoIP, client server based computer applications are also developed.
Managers the world over are reluctant to give timely, relevant, and useful feedback; particularly when it is negative. They are often afraid of ‘opening a can of worms’ or can’t find the time to do so. In this presentation we look at some simple strategies and tools for giving effective feedback that is most likely to improve performance. Learn some of the ways to broach sensitive topics with confidence and skill.
Securing TCP connections using SSL
Originally developed by Netscape
Communications to allow secure access of a
browser to a Web server, Secure Sockets
Layer (SSL) has become the accepted
standard for Web security.1 The first version
of SSL was never released because of
problems regarding protection of credit
card transactions on the Web. In 1994,
Netscape created SSLv2, which made it
possible to keep credit card numbers
confidential and also authenticate the Web
server with the use of encryption and digital
certificates. In 1995, Netscape strengthened
the cryptographic algorithms and resolved
many of the security problems in SSLv2
with the release of SSLv3. SSLv3 now
supports more security algorithms
than SSLv2.

Which sentences have got no

5. The sentence when we don’t know or
there is no need to say who is the
“doer” of the action is called a passive
voice sentence.
6. In this case the action itself is more
important than the “doer”.
However, it is still possible to add the

7. Look at the sentences: is the
doer important or not?
Fresh bread is made every morning.
My money was stolen.
My birthday is celebrated in March.
The Berlin wall was destroyed in 1989.
8. The Passive Voice, just as Active
Voice, may have tenses.
