6. How I Got Into Snowboarding
When I was 11 years old one of our friends invited my dad
an me to go to Cypress with them, so I did when I was up
there they asked me what I wanted skis or snowboard so I
said snowboard. When I first put my bindings on I started
sliding down a small hill and I fell. Later when we were
about to go on the chair lift I had no experience on how to
get off so when we reached the top I fell, after that they
helped me get up and moved me aside to I didn’t get hit
by the chairlift or the people that’s got off. When I went
on my first run It took me like 10-15 min. after a couple
of times I knew how to go and stop. Later they told me if I
wanted to go to a green or blue run so I said sure but
since I knew the basics it was easier. That day was very
fun but the next day I was extremely sore.

7. Snowboarding now
I've been going up snowboarding since I started and I've
really enjoyed it. I've learned lots of new stuff like carving,
hitting jumps and now I want to attempts rails . I consider
my self a decent snowboarder that enjoys riding.
How I learned
I learned how to snowboard by my self. I also learned by
looking at other snowboarders on the mountain. Another
way I learned was by looking at videos.

Winter 2012 was really fun, I went 2 times snowboarding. The
first time I went this winter was on a night owl which is when
you snowboard from 5-10, its really fun to snowboard at night
and when its snowing. The second time I went was with my
friends, we went full day, we did lots of runs we went on the
terrain park and attempted to do some jumps and rails some
were successful and some were a fail. We also went on a double
black diamond which was really fun to do even though it was a
bit harder to do it was fun. Winter 2012 was a really fun
