5. Adverb

6. Conjunction

clauses.
• Types: Coordinating, Subordinating,
Correlative
• Examples: and, but, because, either...or
7. Interjection
• Definition: Expresses strong emotion.
• Often followed by an exclamation mark.
• Examples: Wow! Ouch! Hooray!
8. Preposition
• Definition: Shows the relationship between a
noun/pronoun and another word.
• Indicates: Direction, Place, Time
• Examples: in, on, under, over, with
