2. What is Parent Portal? Parent Portal is exactly what it’s name suggests. A portal for Parents/ Guardians and students to view their progress in their classes

3. Where can I access it? You can access Parent Portal by either linking directly from the NBASD webpage You can access Parent Portal directly at the following web address: http://209.114.143.56/edportal/login.aspx

4. Logging in The first screen you will see when you access the portal is the login area You can access the login area HERE

5. Portal Homepage The next screen you will see is the “portal homepage” This is where you can see what assignments your student has on the calendar as well as navigate the rest of the site

6. Navigating the portal You can navigate around the webpage very easily. All of the “important” links are on the left of the page under Parent Links The right side of the page contains the contact information for the school

7. Customizing the portal The nice thing about the portal is that YOU the Parent/Guardian can adjust the settings to meet your needs On the right side of the page under the schools contact information you will see links to parent resources, email preferences and a password management link

8. Parent Resources This section will provide suggested activities that your child may practice from home to strengthen skills they are weak in This feature will coincide with our online curriculum tool and data warehouse package (COMING SOON)

9. Email Preferences Here you can change the settings of your email notifications You can choose whether you receive alert updates. Attendance, Misconduct, Progress Reports

10. How do I access my login? You can access your login up for the Parent Portal in one of two ways 1. Via traditional mail- We will be sending out your login information and password to each user. IMPORTANT: Please change your password following logging in
