the 30th of August 1797
 Mary Shelly was
essayist,biographer and
novelist
 Marry Shelly famous for her
novel frankenstein or the
modern Prometheus
 Shelly died of brain tumor on
the 1st February 1851
 Gothic fiction, which is largerly
known by the subgenre of Gothic
horror, is a genre or mode of
literature and film that combines
fiction and horror,death,and at times
romance.
 Frankenstein is considered a gothic
novel due to the presence of evil,
mystery,supernatural,dark aspects
of life and the romanticism
associated to the Goth genre.
 Frankenstein is considered to be the
first science fiction novel fused with
supernatural terror.
All elements of the gothic
novel in Frankenstein.
Monster has been presented
as the villain of the
protagonist’s happiness.
It is the most striking
elements of any gothic novel
which is completely applied
in this novel.
Bye the use of little known
technology Victor gathers
the bodily parts of his
experiments he creates
monsters.
The entire plot structure is dominated by the
activities of the monster with unbelievable
supernaturally real miracles.
The description about how the monster traveled in
different place together with its destructive
qualities it automatically created a horrific
situation with terror.
