Pan's Labyrinth is a 2006 Mexican-Spanish dark fantasy film written and directed by Guillermo del Toro. It is set in 1944 Spain during the Francoist period and intertwines the real world with a mythical world centered around an abandoned labyrinth and a faun creature.
