In this paper, we develop AR-GARCH models with day-of-the-week dummies applied to daily returns.
An econometric application to the CAC 240 Paris Stock Exchange Index daily returns be-
tween 1968 and 1993 (i.e. 6580 data points) is carried out, using AR(2)-GARCH(1,1) models
with day-of-the-week dummies. We also calculate a nite Fourier transform for that daily re-
turns series. Finally, we apply the Weibull test to apparent cycle derived from the returns data.
All this leads to some evidence of signicant day-of-the-week and weekend eects, in addition
to strongly damped harmonic behaviour arising from the AR dependence.

Les effets de la crise économique sur les TPE sont toujours prégnants, même s’ils semblent très légèrement s’amoindrir. On relève ainsi un niveau d’inquiétude qui s’établit à 75% (-2 points par rapport à la précédente vague d’enquête), et des répercussions graves ressenties par 64% des dirigeants interrogés (-1 point), l’industrie se révélant plus particulièrement fragilisée.
Après trois trimestres consécutifs de baisse et l’atteinte au mois d’avril 2009 du taux le plus bas enregistré depuis le début du baromètre (-28), l’indice de situation financière des TPE s’améliore mais demeure à un niveau très faible (-20). La présence d’un pronostic négatif pour ces trois prochains mois (-2) s’avère peu rassurant quant à la période à venir.
Au global, l’optimisme des patrons de TPE tend à se stabiliser, se situant à 52% pour leur propre activité et à 35% concernant le contexte politique, social et économique en France.
Ces perceptions globalement défavorables s’accompagnent de façon logique d’une anticipation plus tardive de la date de sortie de crise : 40% estiment que celle-ci ne se produira pas avant 2011 contre 35% au trimestre précédent, même si ce score est minoritaire. Les prévisions quant à la rentrée de septembre s’avèrent par conséquent mitigées.

frequency planning, Cell Design Database (CDD) preparation, performance monitoring of upcoming
sites, daily KPI monitoring, guiding survey team, site verification,Acceptance testing etc. I
supervised a team of 5 performance engineers whoprovided comprehensive RF support in terms
of RF planning, optimization & performance engineering. Apart fromperforming the above
mentioned activities I also coordinated withthe clients to discuss various network related, quality
and coveragerelated issues.

2G (GSM):
Optimization of GSM sites based on coverage Rx level, Rx quality.
Proposing new site after analysis of coverage issue. coverage by skewing sectors, down
tilt/up tilt, power increase/decrease by using better antenna gain
Site auditing and verifyinghardware, tilt, antenna height and orientation, according to the
site database

3G (U900 & UMTS):
Drive Test and Optimization of U900 and UMTS sites based on coverage RSCP, Quality
Ec/No,pilot pollution,
Missing neighbours, softhandover using drive test data’s. optimize to improve Ec/Io
(reduce pilot pollution) by improving RSCP of dominant cells and reducing coverage
(interference) of less dominant sectors through antenna tilt changes and power changes,
thus rectify the overshooting sectors issues.
Checking co-scrambling codeissues. Adding missing 3g-3g neighbours and deleting the long
neighbours using scanner measurements. 2G GSM 900/1800 drive test, data Analyzer &
field optimization: physical optimization of existing sites. Finding out the interference
problem & rectify the same. Identify the reasons for TCH blocking, TCH drop & handover
failures.
Primary verificationof drive data and taking necessary correctivemeasures, like
Neighbours, addition and deletion and interference analysis. Providing appropriate tilts
(electrical/mechanical) to reduce the interference or improve the coverage.3 G drive test -
