Pakistan remains an underdeveloped country after 73 years of independence due to issues like injustice, lack of education, improper use of resources, unemployment, and lack of leadership. The document outlines how these issues stem from problems in the justice system, education sector, management of natural resources, unemployment rates, and lack of strong political leadership. It argues that addressing these challenges through improved governance, education reforms, sustainable resource management, job creation, and visionary leadership could help transform Pakistan from a developing to a developed country.

Economy of Pakistan Growth Trends Challenges and CPEC Impact
The economy of Pakistan is a complex web of economic activities that play an important part in molding the nationâs fate. In this detailed examination of Pakistanâs economy, we will look at everything from its historical context to current issues and prospects. By the end of this talk, you will have a thorough understanding of Pakistanâs economic situation.
Historical Background
Pakistan, which was founded in 1947, faced the arduous job of creating an economy from scratch. Due to Indiaâs partition, the newly constituted nation was left with few resources. Despite these early hurdles, Pakistan demonstrated tenacity and sustained growth.
Agriculture: The Backbone of the Economy
Agriculture has long been the foundation of the Pakistani economy. It employs the vast majority of the workforce. Crops such as wheat, rice, and cotton are the sectorâs lifeblood. Because the industry is susceptible to weather and water supply, it is vulnerable to climatic changes.
Industry: The Manufacturing Hub
Textiles, manufacturing, and construction dominate Pakistanâs industrial sector. It makes a major contribution to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The industrial industry, particularly the textile industries, is a key employer and foreign exchange earner.
Services: The Emerging Powerhouse
The services industry, which includes finance, information technology, and retail, is expanding. It is extremely important to the economy. Banking and finance have grown significantly in recent years, reflecting an expanding middle class and more urbanization.
Challenges Facing the Economy
Inflation: The Rising Tide
Inflation, or rising costs for goods and services, is a persistent source of anxiety. Inflation reduces peopleâs purchasing power and causes social instability. In order to ensure peopleâs well-being, inflation must be kept under control.
Fiscal Deficit: A Balancing Act
Pakistan has long struggled with budgetary deficits, which occur when the governmentâs expenses exceed its receipts. Reducing the deficit without jeopardizing key services is an ongoing problem.
Foreign Debt: A Growing Burden
Foreign debt growth is a major concern. The government must strike a balance between borrowing for development and successfully managing the debt burden.
Unemployment: The Looming Crisis
Unemployment remains a major challenge. The labor market is unable to absorb the expanding workforce, resulting in underemployment and poverty.
Infrastructure: The Road to Prosperity
Infrastructure development is a top priority for the government. Roads, bridges, and energy infrastructure are being improved in order to attract investment and stimulate economic growth.
Opportunities on the Horizon
CPEC: A Game-Changer
The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a multibillion-dollar initiative that would alter Pakistanâs infrastructure and trade ties. It is projected to stimulate economic growth by increasing trade with China and the
Public Expenditure on Education; A Measure for Promoting Economic DevelopmentIOSR Journals
Â
The rational utilization and allocation of public expenditure would result into an economic development of the country. It has been observed that allocation and utilization of expenditure in Pakistan have been very little towards development. The allocation of current expenditure such as debt servicing and defense has increased by a greater percentage every year as compared to education. Money borrowed by the economy over the years, if had been put to the development of projects, the economy would have seen much higher development and growth. The objective of the research lies in evaluating the public expenditure and its role in economic development by considering education as an indicator to social development in Pakistan.
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

June 3, 2024 Anti-Semitism Letter Sent to MIT President Kornbluth and MIT Cor...Levi Shapiro
Â
Letter from the Congress of the United States regarding Anti-Semitism sent June 3rd to MIT President Sally Kornbluth, MIT Corp Chair, Mark Gorenberg
Dear Dr. Kornbluth and Mr. Gorenberg,
The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
âĸ The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
âĸ The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of the US House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate âany matterâ at âany timeâ under House Rule X.
âĸ The Committee on Ways and Means has been investigating several universities since November 15, 2023, when the Committee held a hearing entitled From Ivory Towers to Dark Corners: Investigating the Nexus Between Antisemitism, Tax-Exempt Universities, and Terror Financing. The Committee followed the hearing with letters to those institutions on January 10, 202

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
Â
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesarâs dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empireâs birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empireâs society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.
Operation âBlue Starâ is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

from other countries.
SOLUTION
Replacing Thermal fuel
ī§ Our reliance on thermal power is almost 53% which is the biggest cost on our
imports bill.
ī§ We can change the fuel used to gain thermal power.
23. ī§ According to one estimate the loss is over Rs. 200 billion per annum. Collectively
by all the government departments the most prominent corrupte department
amongst them are:
īPower sector
īTax and custom
īPolice and Law enforcement
īJudiciary
īHealth and Education
īLand Administration highlights
24. ī§ Corruption can be curbed or limited through the presence of a monitor or a
monitoring process.
ī§ Accountability from the top is started.
ī§ A national anti-corruption commission is set up as an independent department.
ī§ Ensure time bound actions in offices.
ī§ Require public officials to declare their assets.

ī§ Falling states
ī§ Diverse investment opportunities:
ī§ Tourism âĸ Industrial Cooperation
ī§ Financial Cooperation âĸ Agricultural Cooperation
ī§ Educational linkage âĸ Human resource development
ī§ Health Care âĸ People to people contact
27. ī§ We conclude that we should have to eliminate corruption from our daily life.
ī§ We should have to promote education to make Pakistan a developed country.
ī§ We should have to reduce unemployment and give jobs to able persons on merit.
We should have to modify our health, Agriculture and trade sectors.
ī§ We should have to utilize our natural resources to overcome our energy crises.
ī§ We should have to obey laws of Islam and Government, after that we will able to
change Pakistan from developing country to a developed country.
28. ī§ First of all we recommend that if we want to see Pakistan a developed country in true
words then we should have to complete grip on Islam because Pakistan was found in
the name of Islam.
ī§ We have to groom our own personality and thinking individually.
ī§ We should have to use our resources and natural minerals by using advance research,
technology and better machinery.
ī§ We have to introduce anti-corruption authorities to eliminate corruption.
ī§ We have to modernize our education by introducing advance languages and we have
also provided opportunities to fresh pass out teachers because they have fresh
knowledge.
ī§ We have to modernize our health sector by introducing modern equipment and
modern medicines. We have to build hospitals in backward areas and have need to
provide better facilities to them.
ī§ We have to modernize our agriculture sector by using advance machinery, agriculture
tools and modern seeds.
