The wolf met a house dog that told him his life as a pet was easier than the wolf's life searching for food. The dog offered to help the wolf get a similar job with his master. However, when they reached the dog's home, the wolf noticed the dog's collar had worn away his neck fur, and he did not want to be a "fat slave." The dog tried to convince the wolf the collar was not so bad, but the wolf refused and said he would rather starve.

for food when he met a

3. “Cousin,” said the dog,
