1. The effect i put on to the first manipulated audio was called ReaPitch. ReaPitch agve me the option of lowering or highering the pitch in the audio, and i
chose to go for the higher option. It changed the audio dramtically and the best thing i can compare it to is the pitch of a hamster. Compared to the original,
you cant tell the difference between the male and female voice becasue the pitch is that high. To make it this high i toggled the shift bar, which you can see
on the printscreen below. I took it three quarters of the way because that was the point before you couldnt tell what theyv were syaing,.
This is the key that I used to toggle
the lowering and highering of the
pitch.
2. For this recording, i used three effects on the audio: ReaVerbate, Rea Pitch and ReaControlMDI. Altogetehr the three effecst wroked well and gave a unique
sound to the audio. Like the first one i manipulated, it changed dramatically and although using a pitch effect in this one might make it similar to that one,
you can hardly tell. Not only that but it also differs from the original too, the audio gives off a certain echo which is very loud, the wole thing is also louder
and the pitch of the audio is only chnaged slightly, but this time i brought the pitch down a few pegs. Experimenting with the different things you can do
with pitch made me realise that editing audio is down to you, because in most cases you can control how it sounds by toggling keys and changing different
things.
Using the ReaVerbate and ReaControl effects
together is what made the audio give off the
echo we can hear.
