The Missouri Veterans History Project (MVHP) was founded in 2011 to record and preserve the stories of Missouri veterans. MVHP trains volunteers to conduct interviews of veterans about their service and provides the recordings to veterans free of charge. MVHP's goals are to expand its network of chapters across Missouri and increase the number of veterans interviewed, especially from World War II and the Korean War.
