1. OUR ENVIRONMENT
 The life of a planet or
animal is affected by
many things in its
surronding, or
environment.
The environment
includes the air, water,
climate, and the livings
things in the area: We
are responsible for many
of the
 changes of the natural
environment. Many of
these changes have
become a threat to life
on earth. We are
beginning to understand
that there are many
things we can do to save
our environment and we
must all work together to
do what we can.

 There are a lot of
problems on our planet
Earth. We know about
air and water pollution,
disappearing forests,
endangered plants and
animals like the whale
and the panda.
These are such big
problems that even
grown-ups have a hard
time trying to solve them.
But there are lots

done.
 Lets start thinking about
the trees. Trees are very
giving. They give us
wood and fruit, they
serve as wind blocks
and noise buffers. They
also give us shade and
oxygen.

 We must be sure to use trees wisely and
plant trees to replace those that are
being cut down: Lots of trees are being
cut down to make paper.
 Reducing the amount of paper we use
reusing the paper we have and recycling
the paper we do not need are some ways
to help save trees.
