need to be kind to your vehicle, as well as your wallet. For that reason, our Orlando Toyota service center

4. Which Orlando Toyota service myths are true and which are false?
When you bring your ride in for car maintenance in Orlando, there are certain things that your vehicle
needs on a constant basis. However, there are several car services that can be like money pits. We sat
down with our auto service techs to debunk some Orlando Toyota service myths to help you get
educated!
Myth #1: You need an oil change every 3,000. Here at our Toyota service center, we know that it
used to be true that you needed an Orlando oil change every 3,000 miles; however; that’s no
longer the case! Nowadays, most cars can go 7,500 miles or more between oil changes. You can
choose to get the oil changed more often, but it will make a dent in your wallet. Consult with your
owner’s manual to see how often your ride needs this car maintenance.
Myth #2: Slow down when your radiator is on the fritz. If your car starts to overheat, you probably
think that you need to slow down. The one way your engine can actually cool off is with coolant
flow and airflow across the radiator. If you slow down, you won’t get the airflow coming in. If you
need radiator repair, visit our Toyota service center so our techs can take a look!
Myth #3: Premium gas is better for your car. Many people think that unleaded regular gas isn’t as
good as premium gas. They think that if you can afford premium gas, you should put it in your
vehicle. That’s NOT the case at all. All you’ll be doing is spending more money than necessary on
gas. Most cars run just fine on regular 87-octane fuel. If your ride doesn’t need premium gas, just
stick to the regular 87-octane fuel!
Myth #4: Replace coolant with each oil change. Here at our Toyota service center, we know that
you want to take care of your ride car maintenance in Orlando; however, we know that you don’t
have to flush the coolant out that often. This should only be done every 5 years or every 60,000
miles. You should top off the coolant if it’s low, though!
