This document discusses the benefits of using free and open source software in the classroom. It notes that open source software allows for immediate use without waiting, free evaluation and testing without obligation, and no restrictions on use. Secondly we will cover the tools deployed on our OpenStack infrastructure that push developers to collaborate and get used to a workflow as near as possible to what they will find in other companies without leaving the LABSOL community.
