This document is a cover letter and resume from Matti Suomalainen applying for a full-time job. He has 20 years of experience in managerial and specialist positions in several continents, most recently as an independent consultant after working for Nokia Corporation for many years. He has received training in electronics, information technology, and business from technical and business schools.  I now apply for full-time job where I can utilize my experience in favor of diversity and at
the same time continue to improve my own skills.

I have worked during my employment history in several continents at local and global managerial
and specialist positions. As a substance has been like change management, procurement, quality and
process management, and the development of networks including supplier collaboration. Most of
the working life, I have been employed by Nokia Corporation ending 2010. After that I had my own
consulting company and now free again for further challenges to give my input for the future.
I have received my basic training from the technical university, major has been electronics and
information technology. I've completed my studies with the commercial executive MBA in 2008. In
addition, I have concluded a number of managerial and specialist programs with my previous
employers. However, I do not think that I have received too much education yet.
I am a broad-based, multilingual with negotiating ability for managing and developing professional
and expert manager positions and people. I have experience in traditionally business models, as well
as developing new models. I am quick to learn new things, versatile to combine new and old, and
work as a team towards a common goal. I can also work alone, such as private enterprise is
important. It’s the purpose and objective which count.
