Dirctions for Mixing Oobleck
1. Be sure to work cleanly. Oobleck is VERY messy. Please, allow only one person to
mix the ingredients. KEEP THE OOBLECK OFF THE FLOOR!
2. Begin with 1 ½ cps of water in your plastic tub.
3. Add a few drops of food coloring.
4. Add cornstarch to the mixture, a few spoonfuls at a time. Stir thoroughly.
5. It will take 5-10 minutes for the oobleck to form. You must continue stirring and
adding cornstarch a spoonful at a time.
6. Eventually you’ll need one of your tablemates to stir the mixture with their hands
(it gets pretty thick)
