Welcome ~
Thank you for choosing to work with us. I sincerely appreciate it and will do everything I can to make you happy
with your room design. Below are few things to get for start
7
www.s3concept.com How to Measure / Pictures mail: s3concept@yahoo.in
3. Measure your space
Measure your floor plan
Now when you are ready with pencil, paper, measuring tape, you need
to measure your rooms floor plan and elevation (walls) you make
sketch with freehand no straight lines or perfection necessary, Sketch
out the existing layout of your room, including the locations of
windows, doors, closets, etc. (Don’t worry about scale!) Use your tape
measure to measure each wall — corner to corner — while recording
the sizes and locations of any openings or built-ins in the space,
including doorways, built-in bookcases, etc. Take a detailed
measurement of each wall, including the spaces between various
points. (Ex. corner to outside of window frame, opposite side of
window frame to door frame, etc.) Make sure all these individual
measurements add up to your total wall measurements. Consider
including ceiling height, location of power outlets, height of windows
and doors, location of windows, location of wall sconces/ceiling
lights, etc.
Floor Plan

Elevations (4 walls)
Other stuff that would be helpful for me to know:
• Ceiling height for each room
• Location of all power outlets
• Height and widths of windows and doors
• Location of windows on each wall
• Location of any wall/column/niche and/or ceiling lights
* When drawing in pencil, please make sure the lines are dark enough so when you later scan to send your drawings to me I will be able to read
them easily.

5. Pictures
Take pictures of your space
Digital camera or cell phone with a camera Take photos of your chosen
room showing all walls, windows, doors, etc. Please include the ceiling
and floor, as well. We should be able to create a comprehensive visual of
your room when all photos are grouped together.
Angles of Camera

Turn on all lights
Remove craps
Take photos first without flash
and then again with flash
Try keeping camera height

6. North Direction
Mark North direction on floor plan for “Vastu planning”
if need your home or room to be designed as per vastu shastra, you will
need a compass to mark the North direction on drawing you made with
room measure For your easy convenience for marking North direction,
first please stand at entrance / center of room, second keep the paper

What's your lovable color
Color is the most prominent tool that designers use when styling a room. Color alone can set the mood, temperature, and communicate the
overall theme of the room. It is the easiest for our eyes to notice.
With such a powerful tool as the color selection, it is no wonder that it can be so intimidating. Below are worksheets to help you associate colors
with your desired mood for your home. We will use this to confidently select your color palette.
Write up to 4 descriptive words that you associate with each color type to the right of the word. Then, circle the color types that you prefer. You
can even notate what colors come to mind when you read these words.

21. Now that you have sent me all the details about your home, your life and what you'd like to get out of the e-interior process find out what I,
the professional e-interior, do when I begin the e-Decorating process
Typically it takes me about 4 weeks to compile an e design–during that time period I'll be working diligently on your project, and it's quite
possible I'll fall off the face of the earth for a bit as I get into the zone. That said you can expect to hear back from me within a week with my
first round of decor questions unless, of course, I have a bright burst of inspiration, in which case, I'll be back in touch even earlier.

22. With help of your info provided, I need to see how you really live.
It’s not just about good design; it’s also about making it functional.
It’s my job to connect you with what makes you comfortable and
map out the overall vision for your home.
Working together, we sort out a time line and budget. Then we put
it all in writing to give you a clear idea about how the whole thing
will go
PHASE 1: KNOWING ABOUT CLIENT PROSPECTIVE PHASE 2: DESIGN CONCEPT
During this phase we will assess your home in great detail. I start
refining a plan for your final approval. This plan includes:
proposed floor plans, elevations, shopping list, view, furniture
suggestions, and recommendations for textiles, wall treatments,
window coverings, flooring, and other materials for your project.
In this step you will be able to visualize your design, and how
your home will come together
PHASE 3: GUIDE FOR PURCHASING
After the final design plan is approved we then set the final budget
and begin the purchasing and procurement phase. I request
fabrication of custom pieces and order the other furnishings as
outlined in our plan.
I keep close tabs on the process and keep you up to date. And then
the exciting part, we set the date
PHASE 4: INSTALLATION & FINAL TOUCHES
My team thoroughly inspects each piece of new furniture and
gets it ready for the installation. They will also start painting,
based on the color schemes we’ve picked out. When the house is
ready.
And then the magic happens: the walkthrough of your newly
completed space. This is the part of the job that I love the most.
It’s filled with emotion as you discover the home you always
dreamed of, right there at your fingertips. I’ll admit, I keep a box
of s3 concept for myself as I watch your dreams come to life
