1. English military and political leader who was Lord Protector of
England, Scotland and Ireland. He was involved in trying to make
England into a republican commonwealth with two objectives;
spiritual and government reform. His monarchy failed and after
his death the rituals of posthumous execution was done on his
corpse.
2. Cromwell’s faith consisted of puritan
morality and authoritarian regime.
After historians have read through his
speeches, they have found that his
views are biblical inspired. Another
influence on his work is fascism. His
rule focused more on the interest in
people of God and radical actions.
