This is to certifu that Mrs. Maryam Soleimani Siboni has worked as an intern in the National
Institutions and Regional Mechanisms Section (NIRMS) at the Office of the High Commissioner for
Human Rights (OHCHR), Geneva, switzerland, since g September 2012.
Throughout her internship Mrs. Soleimani Siboni made a significant contribution to the work of
the Section. She has dernonstrated dynamic and flexible attitude.,in.tr fulfilling her tasks.
Mrs. Soleimani's tasks included preparing briefing notes on national human rights institutions
for human rights treaty bodies, doing a summary for the accreditation of the South Africa Human
Rights Commission, as well as various translation works. She also conducted substantive research on
cooperation between ministries of human rights and national human rights instifutions in order to
support the work of oHCHR's field presences, as well as on the jurirpi.rd"n." of regional mechanisms
on women and children rights.
Mrs. Soleimani Siboni contributed to the otganization of seminars, workshops and training
activities on national_institutions and regional meChanisms. She was involved in the organizatioi of
the Intemational workshop on enhancing cooperation between International and Regional mechanisms
of human rights, held in Geneva in Decemb er 2012.
Mrs. Soleimani Siboni proved to be a serious, reliable and hardworking intern. She did her
utmost to provide outputs of high quality and within the established deadline-s. She is a pleasant
person to work with and is respectful of the IIN multicultural environment.
