Odysseus and his men kill the remaining suitors in the hall. Telemachus wounds one suitor slightly in his first battle. Athena helps turn the tide against the suitors by raising her aegis. Most of the suitors are killed by Odysseus, Telemachus, Eumaeus and Philoetius. Melanthius is killed after being wounded. Eurycleia is sent to summon Penelope while things are cleaned up.
