The OCRE project aims to enhance the utilization of commercial cloud and earth observation services within the European research community by facilitating access to these resources through the European Open Science Cloud. It aggregates research community needs into public tenders, providing €9.5 million in adoption funding, thereby simplifying the procurement process for institutions. OCRE ensures that selected services meet legal, financial, and technical requirements, supporting researchers in accessing validated digital services efficiently.
