The Manitoba Chapter of Osteoporosis Canada Presents Its 6th Annual
Cheese and Wine Event, Featuring Bothwell Cheese and thewinehouse
Local non-profit hosts its yearly cheese and wine evening to raise funds and awareness
for osteoporosis
WINNIPEG – *date of press release sent*, 2011: The Manitoba Chapter of
Osteoporosis Canada is showcasing local businesses at their 6 annual cheese and
th
wine event.
The event, hosted by Jim Ingebrigtsen of CTV’s ‘Great Tastes of Manitoba’, takes place
at the St. Boniface Golf Club on Thursday, March 3 at 6:30 pm. Bothwell Cheese will
offer a tutorial on their locally revered cheeses and James Engstrom of thewinehouse
will educate visitors on pairing the right wine with the right cheese. Tickets are $75,
which includes a $25 tax receipt.
“Manitobans need to take more action at all stages of their lives to ensure the health of
their bones,” says Janet Choboter, Executive Director of the Manitoba Chapter. “This
fundraising event helps us to provide a community of support for those affected by this
disease.”
