-Without adequate funding the organization would not
exist. Oceana does often receive donations which are
great for the organization but Fundraisers are held in
many forms in order to make money for the cause as well.
-A Salary of Roughly $250,000 to the few main people in
the organization. 80.1% of the money goes to Program
expenses, 9.8% goes to administrative expenses and 10%
goes to Fundraising expenses.

3. Why donate to Oceana
-If you love the water and the animals that
reside in it.
-Oceana is the largest group trying to help
preserve the ocean and donating to them you
know will be put to good use.
-The Salary funds for leaders of the cause are
low compared to others, so you know most of
your money is actually going towards help and
not peoples salaries.

-Oceans are a key part of life for not just
animals but humans as well.
-We need to keep the oceans clean and
thriving in order live better and enjoy the water
more
-No one wants a terrible, dirty, nasty ocean.

I am no spokesperson for Oceana, nor am i
trying to give them money. I simply believe that
Oceana is a cause worth getting into.
