Nuffield Health conducted social listening over a two month period, analyzing mentions across various user-generated platforms. For theatre practitioners, they found 789 mentions, with 86% neutral, 1% negative and 13% positive. Most discussions occurred on job sites and closed professional groups. For GPs, there were more public discussions on blogs and social media. GPs are embracing social media more and seek to share expertise online, while professional bodies have provided guidance on its appropriate use. Nuffield could better leverage staff profiles and engage in industry discussions on platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
