NTO-2424 (24”x 24”) PLC controlled or electrical controlled version
NTO-3030 (30”x 30”) PLC controlled or electrical controlled version
Main features NTO-HASL :
 Max. Panel size : see machine type
 Panel Thickness : 0,5mm – 6 mm (0.0008” - .250”)
 All machines have a separate and adjustable air knife heating system
 Solder pot is manufactured from St. steel 316 material
 Easy access to the Solder pump
 Simple and easy access for maintenance and cleaning purposes.
 Air knives can be cleaned or adjusted easily
 Flux or copper dross particles are easy to scoop out of the solder pot.
 Exhaust on the top and left side (just above the air knives).
PLC versions :
 PLC (Siemens S7 programed) controlled with HMI windows CE based Touch panel.
 Easy and simple to operate program and 30 different settings.
 Linear unit with drive motor controlled by PLC
 Different panel size starting positions.
 Solder pump runs with two variable speeds
 “STAND-BY” mode
 Thin core and flexible PCB guiding and clamping system.
 MB connect web router for remote PLC and HMI monitoring, system programming and optimization from anywhere in the
world
SOLDER POT AND SOLDER PUMP :
 Solder pot is manufactured from St. steel 316 material. (Better resistance against the attack of tin and flux)
 Solder pot with special designed overflowing inner-pot with re-circulation pump.
 Spent flux overflow drain system.
 Solder pot completely insulated
 Independent heating control system of the Solder pot.
 Solder pump is on the right side of the solder pot to get easy access to maintenance and cleaning purposes.
The solder pump runs with two variable speeds controlled by the PLC. Solder pump runs in high speed (production speed)
and switch to low Speed ​​(standby) after a specified expiration time when no production takes place.
A strong oxidation of the tin is avoided.
 Easy access to the removable solder pump. (Within a few minutes)
 Solder pump mounting plate can be removed for deep cleaning around the thermocouple and solder intake area.
CLAMPING SYSTEM AND AIR KNIFE
COMPARTMENT:
 Clamp made of Titanium
 Panel Thickness : 0,5mm – 6
mm (0.0008” x .250”)
 Covers and panels are easy to
clean.
 Covers simple and easy to remove
for access to the Air knives and
solder pot.
 Delivered standard with a PCB
guiding systems. (Rigid boards)
 Exhaust on the top and left side
(just above the air knives).
AIR KNIVES :
 Air knife shells made of Titanium other parts out of St. steel.
 Air knives are easy to remove for cleaning or adjusting purposes.
 Release / lock mounting system
 Self-cleaning !
 Adjustable orifice
 Air knife distance and angle can be adjusted.
 Front panel pilot controlled pressure regulation with gauges.
AIR KNIFE HEAT EXCHANGER:
 Special designed St. steel heat exchanger for
heating up the air knife air.
 Separate and adjustable air knife heating
system and is independent of the heating
control of the Solder pot.
 Heat exchanger provided with strip heaters,
covering and completely insulated.
 Required lead free air heat of 250/270°C
(480/520° F) is feasible.
ELECTRO AND SAFETY :
 Chosen and reliable electrical components are
used such as Siemens, Eaton, SEW.
 Clear and concise component marking and wire
labels.
 Automatic operator safety window, safety
switches on all doors.
 Separate temperature measurement such as
thermocouple and over temperature devices
are built in the solder pot and heat exchanger.
Temperature is controlled by a temperature
controller and over temp. Temperature is
monitored by the thermocouples.
 Alarm/failure list (PLC versions)
 Auxiliary for exhaust fan. (MCB + controlling)
PLC AND TOUCH PANEL :
 PLC (Siemens S7 programed) controlled with HMI windows CE based Touch panel.
 Easy and simple to operate program and touch panel.
 30 different settings can be stored (Recipes)
 Linear unit with drive motor controlled by PLC. Variable speed controlled for up and down speed.
 1 or 2 cycles programmable in the recipe.
 Different panel size starting positions are selectable.
 Standard with simple “visual management” based instructions which can be implemented in the company
quality system.

