The Lighthouse Chapter of the NSBE in Region V aims to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers through academic support, professional development, and community impact. They engage in tutoring, fundraising for educational resources, and organizing events such as college tours and workshops, while also celebrating members' achievements. The chapter plans to enhance their outreach and operations with goals including a new website, more fundraisers, and partnerships for additional mentorship opportunities.
