1. 19th Nov changes coming to CRS-
Canada Express entry.
Here are the preliminaryfindings.
1. PNP is the king of all points distribution in CRS giving 600
points. Accordingtothe ImmigrationPlanfor 2017 Canada aimsto
welcome around 51,000 new immigrantsthrough thePNPsnext year,
a seven percent increaseon the target for 2016. PNP remainsthetop
priorityof economic classimmigrationentryroute. PNP programs
are likely to be clogged with longer waiting timesand frustration.
2. LMIA exempt work permits willearn pointsfrom now on.
Only for work permit issued under an internationalagreement, such
as the North AmericanFreeTradeAgreement (NAFTA) and work
permit issued under the‘significant benefitstoCanada’criteria, such
as Intra-CompanyTransfers. Theminimum prerequisiteisthat the
worker must have been working in Canada for at least 1 year and job
offer must be from the employer listed on the work permit. Death

post-secondaryprogram; and
● 30 points, for either:
● an eligiblecredentialfrom a post-secondaryprogram
of threeyears or more,
● an eligiblecredentialfrom a university-level program
at the master’slevel or at the level of an entry-to-
practiceprofessionaldegreefor an occupationlisted
in the NationalOccupationalClassificationmatrixat
Skill Level A for which licensing by a provincial
regulatorybodyis required, or
● an eligiblecredentialfrom a university-level program
at the doctorallevel.
