1. Not every person knows the history of Novosibirsk. In 1913 the city was called
Novo-Nikolaevsk. It was a small town. There was a lack of lightning at night. The
main transport was horses. There were 3 small leather factories, 2 wood-sawing
enterprises, 3 brick factories. The buildings were mostly of wood. People were
sick very often because of climate and medicine was bad that time.
Now, Novosibirsk is one of the big cities in Siberia. There are more than 1,5
million people live there. I enjoy living in my city.
