Overview   In this presentation we will be going to cover climate, population, health, special land features, public records, and much more.   Do you know anything about North dakota??? If not your gonna find out! (:
                     Climate   It is sub- humid climate  They get 13- 20 inches of rain per year July temptures range from 67- 73  January temptures 2-17 degrees  The highest temperature point there was in July 1936, of 121 degrees.  The lowest was -60 degrrees, on February 15, 1936
Population & more Ever since 1985 the population in north dakota has been over 600,000.    Currently in 2009 it is 641,481  Some extra stuff:    They have many museums such as  Heritage center    Museum of art  Pembinda state museum   So check them out!
Health   They breath clean air, and drink clean healthy water; they make sure that there food is safe. All there garbage is disposed of, but in the right way. So they have a clean area to live in.
                      Land features  Some Physical land features are bays , bends capes, etc.  In North Dakota they have 48 bays.   785 lakes , 30 swamps, and 155 valleys.  North Dakota also has many cultural and historical landmarks as well.  they have 42 oil fields 11 hospitals  80 towers, and so much more
                      Tourist   North Dakota has many things to do, the question usually is there what isnt there to do!   Biking Boating Horseback Riding   Camping Hiking Many winter activities  Festivals  Shopping and much more!
Records  In this state they have a liist of records which include:    Audit reports    Birth certificates    Court files    Marriage certificates  And much more    This state keeps all of these files with the goverment.
Fun Facts   North Dakota was explored in 1738- 1740  This is the most rural of all of the states  It ranks first for production of spring and durum wheat Has lots of coal and oil industries in the state  This state is well known for its hunting and outdoor activities also.

Location   North Dakota is 70,703 sq miles (183,121 sq km) Land: 69,300 sq miles (179,487 sq km) Inland water: 1,403 sq miles (3,634 sq km) Maximum length E-W: about 360 miles (580 km) Extreme Width N-S: about 210 miles (340 km) North Dakota is shaped roughly like a rectangle, it has three straight sides and one irregular border on the East.
