Nikolaos Papakostas is a child of Greek expatriates, born and raised in Switzerland. At an early age he became self employed in the attempt to create sufficient money for his studies.

Nikolaos Papakostas is a child of Greek expatriates, born and raised in Switzerland. At
an early age he became self employed in the attempt to create sufficient money for his
studies. During his studies in economy and later psychology he succesfully built and
supervised a cosmetics enterprise. After the sale of the company he operated as a
coach and management consultant and concentrated his attention in technology. As
associate of a consulting firm situated in the US and Switzerland he was responsible for
the development and stock market launch of various companies. During this time
Papakostas established close contacts to various government institutions in Latin
America, the Near East and the African Continent, which some he still consults. During
such consultations Papakostas’ interests grew in endorsing charities and different
project focused on education. Consequently he established his own foundation. Around
the year 2005 he stayed in Japan in order to organize the market launch of one
Yamamoto Industries subsidiary. This laid the foundation for his take over of the
Yamamoto private equity business in 2007. Under Papakostas’ management, the
company today concentrates its interest on high tech, producing aircrafts, combustion
engines and cnc machines. An major interest lays in the research and development of
revolutionary alternative energies.
