This document presents preliminary results of a spatial correspondence analysis of family violence indicators in Dona Ana County. It discusses crime components like rational choice theory and routine activity theory as they relate to offenders, targets, and lack of guardians. It also examines what makes domestic violence unique and introduces 5 methods for analyzing hotspots as well as concepts of activity space. The document is authored by Michael N.
