out in 2012. The gala will take place in Monaco during the
Cannes Film Festival on May 22, 2012, and will transport guests
back to an era of allure and prestige - an era known as the
“Classic Hollywood Cinema”. This era has its grounding in the
American film industry between roughly the 1910s and the
early 1960s.
It was a time where the world grew to love actors such as
King of Hollywood Clark Gable, Norma Shearer, Greta
Garbo, Joan Crawford, Jean Harlow, Gary Cooper, Mary
Pickford, Henry Fonda, Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, Judy
Garland, Ava Gardner, James Stewart, Katharine Hepburn,
Vivien Leigh, Grace Kelly, Gene Kelly, Gloria Stuart, Fred
Astaire, Ginger Rogers, John Wayne, Barbara Stanwyck, John

The inspiration for Nights in Monaco lies in the images of
George Hurrell an iconic photographer who made a
significant contribution to the image of glamour presented by
Hollywood during the “Classic Hollywood Cinematic” era..

7. During the Cannes Film Festival, Nights in Monaco, will play out
on the shores of Monaco and will be invitation only!
The evening will include a Gala Dinner and After Party
benefitting The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and The
William J. Clinton Foundation. A limited number of tickets will
be available. Tables of 10 will be purchased at $50,000
each. The dinner will be at the Hotel Hermitage. overlooking
the Mediterranean. This amazing property is the epitome of
elegance at its highest level. Born with the 20th Century, this
historic hotel imparts an intimate, relaxed atmosphere in
perfect keeping with the spirit of the Principality.
