Nicole Cooke was a professional road bicycle racer from Wales who had a very successful career. She began cycling at age 11 and won numerous junior and senior national titles. Some of her biggest accomplishments include winning a gold medal in the Olympic Games Road Race Championships and four UCI World Championship Junior titles. Overall, her incredible performance and contributions to British cycling led her to receive the prestigious Bidlake Memorial Prize in 2001.
