Niall Horan of One Direction celebrated his 19th birthday. At the recent MTV Video Music Awards, One Direction won multiple awards and performed on stage. Additionally, Niall kissed Katy Perry after she presented an award to the band. It has been an eventful time for Niall leading up to his birthday.

2. all, One Direction rocked the MTV Video Music Awards, winning
multiple Moonmen and rocking the hallowed VMA stage for the
first time. And, most importantly, while snagging one of their
trophies, Horan scored a lip-lock from presenter Katy Perry.
What a slick fellow!
He was also blink-and-you'll-miss-it linked to Demi Lovato, but
they're just friends, and he and the rest of his One Direction
mates got to have a little cooking date with Justin Bieber.
