Culture Week at Aquinas High School celebrates diversity by allowing students to dress in traditional garments from their family's country of origin. It aims to appreciate different cultures locally and globally. The week culminates in an international banquet with food from various Bronx and Manhattan kitchens. Salesian High School held its annual National Honors Society ceremony, inducting 12 new members who were presented medals by their mothers. The ceremony highlights the standards of leadership, character, scholarship and service. It concluded with a speech by alumnus Richard Sheehy sharing his experiences. This year's ceremony concluded
with aspeechbyRichard Sheehy,class
of 1979.who was a memberof the Na-
tional HonorsSocietyandtennis team
during his time at Salesian.
Upon graduating from Salesian,
SheehyattendedGeorgetownUniver-
sity for his bachelor'sdegree,Univer-
sity of Miami Law School,and then
Arizona StateUniversity for his PhD
in Psychology.
