NextGen accomplished critical improvements to 23 NYCHA developments over the past year, improving the lives of 44,000 residents. They started FEMA-funded reconstruction after Sandy, completed repairs to 216 apartments, and replaced 19 roofs. NextGen also improved customer service by reducing work order times, launching a mobile app, and creating online systems. Safety was increased through lighting and security upgrades. NextGen partnered with city agencies to provide career training and social services. They laid the groundwork to generate revenue through the RAD program, commercial leases, and cost reductions while engaging residents.
