Pramit Jhaveri, the former CEO of Citi India, is being considered as a trustee for one of the main Tata Trusts. This comes as the Tata Trusts face legal issues with the tax department and a battle over Cyrus Mistry's ouster from Tata Sons in 2016. If selected, Jhaveri would be the first outsider appointed as a trustee for the Tata Trusts.
